Sensi was a last minute recruit who had only been offered by small colleges. Went on to be one our bes cb's ever and a great pro and community serviceman with philantropy ..

He's a very sharp young man with character. We project him at nickle. Hated to lose brown to Miami. Both he and his brother. Still curious what happened with Nation.
So for your 3rd or 4th choice, I think Barnes is a solid pickup. Bill, we've taken a step back in recruiting. Oddly our highest rated class in 2020, wasn't very productive. Lots of busts and guys either left or didn't develop. So, back in rebuilding mode. Let's hope some of our recruits truly become those diamonds.

Amazing people like you bellyache about a top 10 recruiting class. Only two coaches Clemson has ever had has that feat .. Danny and Dabo.

Exactly! Someone earlier did the maff and over the last ten years think Clemson averaged about 9.5. Right about where Tigers now stand. Barnes was hurt his junior year as a couple of TNetters called out earlier (see tigerfan22334). Watch game film and highlights on these guys not just ranking and stars.

I'm not normally of the "he should really be a 4/5* guy" like a lot of people are about Clemson commits, but in this case I do think the rating services are behind on his talent. He suffered an ACL injury and was not full go his junior year which is a massive year for recruiting services evaluation of players. It's usually the first time they're really digging into the class. Once he was back and fully healthy playing through his senior year you see the offers from Clemson, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma come in.
