out at once that will allow Miami to score. If there is a chance to shut Miami out, then do it!!! Make Heather Dumbitch look as stupid as she really is!!! Do it for Clemson and her fans, but most of all, let the D try and shut Miami out for their coach, coach Venables!!!

from last is precisely because we play backups before garbage time.
Hurts the stats, helps the depth.

Love Dabo but we need to let our "D" do their thing! On the other side those other guys deserve to get out there & share in the Glory of it all! They will be our future for the years to come. Go Tigers

I fully understand everything all of you have said, I do. But the D and BV deserve a shutout as much as the O has with the Blow out. I understand that our D is as good as they are bc of the playing time they have had before we really needed to depend on them, and it shows that it was good for them to get early playing time. But a shutout against a team that so many thought would upset us, the shut out spoke volumes. And it said that BV has our D back to one of the best defenses in the country again with a new group of starters. I know we have to play guys that are not ready yet to start but, don't clear the bench in a game like the one against Miami all at once when we are pitching a shutout. Some times we have to show the doubters we are serious about just kicking A$S, and kicked Miami's A$S we did!!! Go Tigersss!!!

As it turns out, the defense on the field in the 4th quarter consisted MOSTLY of freshmen, and these guys are talented. They MUST get reps against someone other than our own offense to get better, and yesterday, they did. You could see players like Smith, Gibson, Yeargin, Bryant, Fields, ALL getting that experience needed to contribute in the very near future.
