back. The big question is this? Since it will go against his grain will Dabo be willing to do the following. I’m not sure. 1) Fire those coaches who are failing at their job. 2) use the portal the same as Fl State, Miami, Louisville, Georgia Tec, SMU, and others in our conference and other major programs. 3) Be willing to play a portal guy over one of his high school recruits.4) Give full control to his OC and DC. 4) Hire the best coaches available rather than hiring former players and friends he knew in the past. If he is willing to do these things then he can Dave his program. If he is not willing to do these things then we will be bottom feeders.

He seems to have doubled down on hiring coaches with a Clemson background. I don’t remember where I saw it, but I saw a list of all of our coaches. It was unbelievable how many of them had a Clemson connection.

You forget, he has Won two Nattis, played in two more doing most of what you said.
Outside the portal use.
He has always surrounded himself with people he knows and former players ( Tony Elliot, Jeff Scott etc)
I have no problem with him hiring all those people. He has to change his stance on portal use, how he offers freshman the $ to come to Clemson.
