Clemson will never fire Dabo. And Dabo will never change. Get used to Cheezit Bowls every year. I tried to tell people who saw beating up crappy teams as Dabo being right about the portal. It's not. But I got called a coot for doubting Dabo. I still think he's a great coach and man, but he needs to adapt or retire. We can beat lowly teams but can't beat any real contenders. And Louisville is no where near as good as South carolina or Pitt.

Dabo response to you and all Clemson fans: I know we are expected to win everything but things happen and I'm not changing for one dang game. And I'll go somewhere else before I do that. I won the ACC many many times ( in his captain Lassard voice) and don't ever forget the national championships I've won. So if I don't win anything in the next 20 years that should be ok because I've won before. So stop all your complaining and be happy with the past!

This mirrors many posters opinions on T-net as well. His past successes have granted him immunity from any scrutiny. This program has become mediocre. It's starts with the head coach.

GN should let him know he needs to start playing the game within today's parameters. I do not buy this crap that Dabo says "We have offered but they got to like you too" He has turned every potential transfer against us based on his staff. But hey we got good men on the team.

If you have absolutely zero football fundamentals but you just out-talent the other team with the best Jimmies and Joes, you have to compete with other teams to get the best talent.
FSU in the 90's had the most inconsistent, brain-dead offenses around, but had players that could just make big plays happen.
Clemson in the 2010's did the same thing.
We aren't going to do that again in the NIL/portal era, especially if we refuse to use the portal.
