Made into something that they’re not. I see no big deal in stating that a coach is approaching the end of his career at a school when it is evident. It’s obvious Urban is not as sharp as he has been it seems.

while DaBO is now 48, so in reality Meyer is Not in the last phase of his coaching career..
In 12 years URB will be 69 & DaBO 60.
See.. not much difference!

Seems to me like everyone on ESPN and other shows is saying that this isn't a big deal and that much worse is said on the recruiting trails

My guess is that UM told Dabo that he wasn't coaching until he is 60 like Stoops just retired. That said, Dabo said he has heard that UM won't be in his 60's and coaching like Saban but Dabo guaranteed he'd be around til he is 60!! Fair statement, not a lie, and all within the facts of coaching and recruiting!
