Maybe not - and maybe Dabo's been hanging out in the locker room too long for someone who preaches righteousness.
I realize that society has changed a lot and there is a lot that once forbidden that is now acceptable to more and more people as time goes by, but having the right to say or do something doesn't always make it right to say or do it.
I think he said that "Best is the standard".

No, just disappointed that a coach who is selling the program as something that builds men of character for success in life uses that language publicly. I doubt it resonates well with parents of reruits who are looking for a program that will instill character in their sons.
I have no problem with the language in the locker room or in private conversation - but I don't think it's becoming to use in a public interview. It's not a good look when you're trying to set yourself as an example for others to follow.
I use the expression myself, but not in a business or publicly social setting.
I've noticed that the expression has appeared from players in interviews lately (Shipley is one), so I guess it's now condoned as a publicly acceptable expression among the team and coaches. To me, it's a sign of relaxed tolerance toward societal correctness.... and just poor manners in a public setting.
But then, I don't like to see folks spitting tobacco in church, either....
