Dabo always said nothing is more unimportant than the score at halftime

In the past, especially when Clemson would be up big on a good opponent back in the championship years, this year i noticed he brought up several times, how Clemson was basically even with Georgia at halftime (6-0 georgia lead) and i believe clemson ended up with more total yards on offense than Georgia but lost the game 34-3.

Has anyone else noticed how he kind of morphed the meaning of one of his pet phrases? in other words the original meaning is supposed to be "it doesnt matter if you look good at half what matters is when the clock reaches zero" and yet he kept using the Georgia first half as "proof" that the teams are almost even.

I think a lot of what he said with statements like that were to the benefit of the team. What would you rather him do? Come out and tell the reports how everyone sucks? Dabo is one of the most positive people in the world and he is going to cling to anything "good" he can cling to and keep repeating it.
