Too true.
Just read today about an off-duty deputy who came out of the crowd to protect a fallen cop. He yelled at other cops to put away the batons they were using with potentially deadly force. This earned him a sucker strike from one, and a 10-year conviction after 30 months in solitary, in spite of the fact that one of the 10 audio/video sources caught the CP thanking him for saving the officer.
You have to wonder if he hadn't warned the CP to stop concussing defenseless women if he might still be free.
