Ticket prices aren't lowering anytime soon. I know some people on here hate the network, but it's really good for the olympic sports too. One of my partners has a daughter on equestrian scholarship at aTm. He can watch her on TV.

We're going to run it by affiliates and see how much demand there is and how much we can charge them for it. I'd be curious which conferences lost money for them.

wouldn't make anywhere near that.
I assume Finebaum is their biggest earner.

I'm sure Mike Hogewood is a great counter personality for Finebaum. Lol. Yeah, there's not going to be an ACC network.

That all sounds good.

That is not the end of the story. The SEC Network is half owned by ESPiN. Reports say that the SEC Network is part of the reason ESPiN has turned in two consecutive quarters of losses. The other major loss was attributed to an extra NFL playoff game.
I think the instability of cable TV is the major factor preventing the ACC from kicking off it's network. I know this isn't popular but Swaffie is doing the right thing by delaying the startup date.
Perhaps some have noticed that CBS has taken some of the top sec games off ESPiN's hands this season. ESPiN also sent Brent Musburger to the SEC network which leads me to speculate that his salary was enough to have the SEC share the overhead. This year has brought some new faces to their college football programs. Heather, David Hale and a few other beat reporters have become special guest. Sammich is a special guest and Playoff expert? Sure thing.
IMO, ESPiN and the SEC Network are on the ropes.

Link to these reports? I'd like to read more information.
Thanks.

brought in by the SEC Network. The article just states the total revenue brought in by the SEC during the first year of the SEC Network, well it was also the first year those big playoff dollars were being passed out.

There already is an ACC Network. There is not an ACC cable channel.
