Obviously, people would be fired. But in Columbia, they're seemingly ok with it.
That's one big difference between Clemson and USuCk.

They are the ONLY SEC team in 286 games to lose after having such a big lead.........there is no equivocating that bad of a loss.

My daddy went to a S.Carolina vs UGA game in Athens back in the latter half of the 1960’s decade.
S.Carolina built a pretty big lead in the first half. By end if game, UGA had blown them out.
This kind of thing was apparently common enough even way back when that they were not a noteworthy event.
We must not forget that S.Carolina had a prodigious history of embarrassing losses prior to 1992 when they started playing a full schedule of SEC games.
Think of how much more remarkable S.Carolina’s FB history would have been if they had been in there since 1965.

Blowing a 27-point halftime lead should not happen with ANY P4 program.
There's a reason that it didn't happen during 286 previous games with similar circumstances lol.

No one is going to fire their coach on the spot if they weren’t planning on it. You been drinking?

Anyone remember when UVA was up on Clemson 28-0 at halftime I think the year was 1992. We came back and won the game 29- 28. I’m not sure if I’d ever laughed so hard another team in my life, until today
