These are interesting reports I'd like to see more of them

Some of the things they are saying are particularly troubling because they speak to technique and angles (on the Hall report bad angles mentioned multiple times).
People ON THIS FREAKIN BOARD have talked about the angles problem for a long time now in regards to Safeties (and LBs), guess that issue still hasn't been resolved....

Been saying this for 2 years. He and Crawford are morbidly slow off the ball

Crawford's been a huge disappointment

he's making no plays. No burst or technique. Can't believe we won't see more of Barnes and Dodd, along with Beasley. Maybe even an LB moving to DE to get some quickness there.

If it is, blame Steele.

Not down on Crawford. M-Good should concentrate on school

This is his last year playing football and his Clmson diploma will serve him well.
Crawford is young and has potential. If he is too slow, he may need to move inside to tackle.

and to say he is slow off the ball is a severe understatement.

Goodman played in a pretty tough region in HS and was a beast. I forget how many sacks he had his senior year but it was a state record.I watched him about every game his last 2 years at West Florence and said many times that he would play on Sundays. I know HS ball and D1 are not even close but with his size and ability how do you get worse with technique.Thats all on the coaches and our tackling is awful.Would it be fair to say he got coached better in HS,I know the West Florence D lead them to a 3A championship appearance one year MG was on the team. They were called the Dark Kinghts or something like that, but nobody could move the ball on them.

No doubt he was a good HS player, but in D-1, all of the players on the field are pretty much the best HS players out there on the field. Makes you appreciate the athletes that make it that far in their careers and in the NFL that much more!

My first thought: "I didn't even realize he had played."

Can't call him a non-factor because he is not sealing off the corner & many long rushes have been around his end. Has he touched the QB yet this year? Let's just be nice and call him a big disappointment in an area we need production in a huge manner.
