Couple of misc. thoughts...

Few random thoughts, both good and bad from my perspective...but first of all, congrats on the 'W.' Clemson played a hard fought, smart game!
Now, two things I didn't like and a surprise...first, was told by two gate attendants that we could go in the bottom level and get to our seats in the upper deck. We walked in the bottom level but had to exit the stadium, and go to the ramp up to get to our seats...frustrating because of time, but we were still in our seats before both teams came out...should have gone straight to our gate, but were told we didn't have to...not too big of a deal. Secondly, I detest the 'pumped in' music...and yes, it played into the snap several times...and no, it's not an excuse, just a personal preference...however...I did like the Jump Around 'part,' and it really kept the crowd going...awesome crowd and atmosphere.
And the surprise...not ONE negative word (outside of an 'in jest' statement) about Georgia before or after the game...Clemson folks were great...actually invited a handful, who may attend, to Athens for the game this week. Clemson crowd was fantastic - inside and outside the stadium. I certainly hope we return the 'hospitality' next year!
Everyone has broken down the game so need to rehash and good luck with the rest of the season - FSU game should be fun!

Glad to have you back and thanks for the kind words. Clemson prides itself with having a hospitable fan base on game days even if it doesn't show up on the message boards. Glad you enjoyed Clemson and good luck this weekend.

...I wish crowd flow had been better addressed over the years, but it bothers home folks as much as visitors. I geuss we just get used to it.
I also prefer real noise to piped in stuff, though both have their place. Alas, it may be a lost battle in today's world.
Finally, it was indeed a heck of a game! Gurley is a man-beast! Best of luck from here on.

Thanks for the positive words. I love the Clemson-Georgia rivalry. It is great for both schools. You can bet we'll be pulling for the Dawgs to beat the dirtpeckers this weekend. Good luck the rest of the season. You've got a great team and Gurley is unreal.

Thanks for the sincere comments. I'm glad Clemson still stands as having hospitable fans, even during big and emotional games. Personally, I have never seen any Clemson fan giving an opposing fan any crap after a win (except for Scar, but that's different).
As for the piped in music: I was sitting in an area of the stadium that was new to me. I was surprised in that I believe the Clemson band had mics on them, and their sound was played through the speakers. This was only annoying because it emphasized some of the higher register horns, and it was hard to hear the "whole band" sound.

and lower do not connect. it is if they are two separate stadiums. not sure why people at the gate wouldnt know that. glad you enjoyed the trip and not the game.
we still should play every year in every sport
