Neither of two consecutive top 10 teams could stop Rattler. Rob Spence coulda been a hof coordinator with a qb having the numbers Rattler had against us and Tennessee. Play calling is irrelevant when your qb’s hair is on fire.

I am telling you guys Satterfield was not the playcaller for Tennessee or Clemson games this year. He got quietly let go after their Florida debacle but allowed to keep the title until the end of the season. Former Cleveland Browns head coach (Freddie Kitchens) called the plays against Tennessee and Clemson thus the complete and utter change in philosophies and generally the change in Rattler's success.

This has to be the stupidest thing I've seen in a while
1. Kitchens was on the sideline against TN and Clemson the entire game without a headset and playsheet. Its on video bud. Would be quite difficult to call plays
2. It has been reported by EVERYONE connected to the program that Satterfield called plays. He had a headset and a playsheet the entire game and was speaking into the headset all game for both TN and Clemson
3. Beamer let him know after UF game he was done and word was Satt said "F it. Let's sling it around". Beamer made him be more aggressive, made him stop audibling, and made him slim down the playbook and personel groupings for the last 2 games. Its also obvious imo they told Rattler to just throw to his first read and stick with it, till it was open. They also went with a silent count during the TN game

He may not pan out. But Beamer sees something in him. Beamer gives me the vibe of being a Dabo jr. Feels like he is trying to build a culture of relationships there. I have a feeling this hire is more about having a personable recruiter that will buy into a family culture rather than a proven play-caller.

Beamer is a top notch coach so get use to the gamecocks improving. You will likely see an immediate rise in their recruiting. Having a better team on our schedule only improves the Tigers standings in the polls. Go Tigers

Their new OC was Arkansas top recruiter. That had a lot to do with this hire.

That’s half the battle and one SC has been losing. A too 20 ish class will win you eight games but he has to finish with a top 10 class every once in awhile. Last year most sites claim they had the best transfer class. Which brings them closer to the top 10. Anyways they need some more help and for that reason it may be a good hire.
