Coot on another board claiming that Clemson beat

Auburn's worst football team in their history. In 2012, that was perhaps true, but in 2011, we beat the defending national champs that were riding a 17-game winning streak and an 11-game SEC winning streak, which by the way, reached twelve the following week when Auburn went to Cootlumbia and beat South Carolina. While South Carolina's loss to Auburn was close as the coots scored 12 points, our game that year, was not close. We outscored them 31-3 over 2 1/2 quartes to win 38-24.
He also claimed that we beat Georgia in early-season when Georgia traditionally doesn't play well and we needed a blocked field goal. Well, we had a 10-point lead and the 3-point difference was due to garbage and prevent defense score by UGA with a mnute to go. The dogs followed that game with an early-season win over South Carolina that was double digit and running out the clock and taking a knee inside the coot 20, then followed that with a win over LSU.
South Carolina has won five in a row, but you know you were in a hole when you win five in a row and have still lost 10 of the last 17. It must kill them to know that two hall of fame coaches have gone 7-8 vs Clemson and not won a single conference championship. If Spurrier can't do it, it will not happen. Their off-campus stadium and outlier location simply will not sustain the type of talent they have had without Spurrier. They have also had the advantage of breaking the rules to the tune of two probations in the last six years.
Oh, and I guess LSU and Ohio State just didn't want to be there.

That's the premise of all coot logic.

The following information comes from The College Football Data Warehouse:
Clemson SEC Record Won:120 Lost:169 Tie:14 Total SEC Games Played:303
South Carolina SEC Record Won:101 Lost:171 Tie:10 Total SEC Games Played:282
South Carolina has played in the SEC for over 20 years now and Clemson has not only played more, but won more SEC games than Carolina

USuC hasn't accomplished anything on par with our BCS Orange Bowl win. NOTHING. In their best period in the history of man, their best accomplishment is beating Clemson. Period. Call it a hunch, but watch and see - 2014 begins the descent of that program back to customary levels.

Rivalry means one thing, and that's bragging for a year. As a "coot" fan I don't care about our "streak". Nothing else matters. Not the overall series or bowl game because if you don't win the NC then congrats on the extra game. Don't worry, I don't agree with Spurrier on the whole "national bowl champs" comment
