I'm not sure how close Clemson was with signing Clowney, but he and Nkimdiche would have been unbelievable.
Gurley & Marshall would have been difference makers for Clemson also. (probably even more so, since Beasley had such a big year)

Since he's an Alabama LINE BACKER commit, and kwon had bama as one of his finalists, I wouldn't see it as being out of the realm of possibilities that kwon would relay such information to Miller.

At my girlfriends house, unfortunately in Ohio and they are diehard Buckeye fans. He seems to think Clemson has gained a lot of ground. Also says that with the LBs they have this year, whoever is staying, and guys they brought in during last recruiting class, doesnt think it would be a good fit for him to go to OSU. So whatever that means for us haha. Would love for him to be a Tiger!!

The last info on him from the Rivals recruiting guy indicated Auburn may have jumped into the mix because he went to AU/Bama game, but Rivals guy seems to think it's down to Bama and tOSU.

Being a freshman can be tough too - especially if you're really far away from home.

I say he's coming to Clemson

Saban may not even be at Bama by the 16th. Ohio State is a long way from home, and their defense sucks. UGA has been out of the picture for a while now. Clemson's D has made huge strides this year, and Venables is a respected LB coach. We have a current defensive player projected as a first-round draft pick, and CU is a place where championships can be won, at both conference and national levels. Can't wait to see this guy in orange.

Hope it's us. Besides being a great player, he's from about 50-55 miles north of my original neighborhood. Need some SE GA/NE FL players to pull for. Barnes doesn't play much.

W the geography. A lot of people forget how much this kids parents probably factor into the decision. OSU is a long drive to watch him play. If he is truly as good as people say then eithier school will get him into the NFL. It will come down to family and Clemson should get this guy.
