Seems it should be reserved for our football team. But I guess renting it out to the highest bidder is cool. Maybe the coot women’s basketball team could come run down the hill for 50k. Cheapens the whole thing. But no it doesn’t hurt me. Just dumb.

I don't see the problem really. The AD has to find ways to pay for 150 more schollies and $20.5mil in NIL money. Rather the dept raise money vs taking $ from other programs or removing sports. Death Valley should raise more events to help offset the new Athletics Fund.

I read they are getting the parking revenue and some portion of the concessions. Can’t recall what is the arrangement for the tickets since the Bananas handled the lottery.

Exactly. Many of them knew nothing about Clemson before today. After seeing Tiger Walk and now the hill entrance I’ll bet a lot of them want to know more about Clemson.

Where should the $20.5mil come from if they don't raise money from other avenues? Probably a lot worse things happen there if it was a Metallica concert, Nikki Minaj Concert, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Willie Nelson with Snoop, or you name the entertainer vs a family function.
I am all for the Univ AD raising funds to protect our Olympic Sports Funding and not stealing money from football to fund the new 150 schollies and $20,5mil.
Im sure if you have better ideas, Neff would be all ears.
