Records of FBS teams we beat 38-57

Records of SMU FBS wins 58-61

SMU beat Louisville at Louisville by 7.

All other common opponents both teams beat though SMU beat those teams by more points.

Clemson defeated 1 team with a winning record (Pitt @ Pitt by 4)

SMU beat 5 teams with winning records (including Pitt at home by 23)

History

Clemson leads SMU in every single Winsipedia category except Heisman (who cares)

We have never played them before.

this season. All our conference wins were against the bottom half....with Pitt being the
"best" win.
SMU's wins over Duke, Louisville, Pitt and BC were all good wins.

SMU should be favored to win this game...might be nice for us to go in as the underdog for once.

better. So your comment doesn't make any sense. I predicted 9-3 before the season. But I didn't predict our schedule would end up so weak. It looked fine before the season started.

I don't lose the right to want to win simply because I think we will likely lose.

You have the right to be as pessimistic as you want. No one tried to take it away from you.

And you’re not aware of anything that happens before it happens. You guess and find out in real time like everybody else.

Guessing right doesn’t make your opinion any more valid.

BTW, it is a logical fallacy to assume that the only justification to predict a loss is pessimism. I have predicted victories that turned out to be losses too. I make predictions based on the available evidence. People make money or lose money from being good or bad at this.
