Agree. He CLEARLY didn’t watch the usuc game last year. He went for an amazing 7 for 29 passing the crapped the bed on the first 2 drives of the ACC championship the following week.

Commentator said DJ had his girlfriend quiz him on Clemson plays because he had a hard time understanding the offense. Are you kidding me?! Thats the CFB equivalent of using your partner to memorize the nuclear codes

He was speaking to his career success, he did mention the hood and bad you get with DJ in the first half.

DJ had just thrown a quick WR screen to the left at the feet of the WR who made a difficult catch while falling to the turf. The taking head discuss how this was the bad you get with him when this should be an easy reception.

From what I’ve seen in the game, nothing has changed with DJ. And yes we could win a lot of games with him but we felt like we needed more to achieve our goals. You know that National Championship thing.

All being said, I hope this is a positive change for DJ and he showcases the skills he feels he has to get to the next level. Other than that last interview he was a model of a Clemson Man!
