Too young to have ever seen the Dead. But would've loved to.
The other being RUSH.
And the other being Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble.

Elvis: I was too young to make the decision for myself, but he played Columbia a year or two before he died and I was interested.
Johnny Cash: He was to play in MB and I was old enough to do this one myself. I had plans to go but he canceled.
Rush:
George Jones:
Pink Floyd:
Van Hagar: saw Van Halen 2x. Though Id begun to lose interest in concerts by the time they were making their rounds I can now look back and wish I could have seen Eddie and Alex at least one more time.
Concerts I regret having paid money to attend:
Foreigner: Bryan Adams was a no name who opened for them and was by far the better act. Foreigner, though I was a bit of a fan, just really disappointed. I enjoyed Count Basie more than them.
Iron Maiden: was never really into Maiden, but I twisted the arm of a friend to join me to a Hank concert and this was him calling his mark.

I missed Willie tour in south a couple yrs ago, and will hate not seeing him live.
I saw Hank about 6-7yrs ago in Simpsonville and he did a tribute series of songs where he mimicked to singers voices and he was amazingly great.

I got to see a Beatle! McCartney was in Cola in 1993 when Linda was still playing keyboard.
Only time in my life I've visited that particular arena after sundown.

The first time I saw McCartney was also in Columbia in 1993. I saw him again in 2015 (Colonia Life Arena) and in 2019 at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville. Ringo and his All-Starr Band played the Peace Center in Greenville about ten years go. Todd Rundgren and Colin Hay from Men at Work performed with him.

The only one I didn’t get to see was stone temple pilots. I had tickets 3x and Weiland couldn’t stay out of rehab. Then he passed. Some of the better groups live were one’s I didn’t really want to see tbh. Many disappointments with singers that could not sing live too. My first show was David Lee Roth with Poison in 1987. I’ve seen the best from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s since. I even caught the Roots at Lalapalooza when they weren’t even heard of in Atlanta. Saw the Shaolin monks at Lalapalooza in Rockingham which was incredibly cool. Little five year old kid performing a perfect dragon kata was mind blowing. There is one more band I’d like to see; that would be three doors down.

That's a long list but here are a few at the top (ranked in no particular order): 1. Pink Floyd 2. Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers 3. Rush 4. Frank Zappa & The Mothers
was too young for Pink Floyd or Zappa, but kick myself for not going to see Tom Petty or Rush...

Was at Clemson but co-oping at the time. Guys from work were going and invited me along. I didn’t want to be the dorky college kid tagging along (which I would have been) so I didn’t go.
Still kicking myself to this day.

And in the last couple years, I've seen Joe Bonamassa, Marcus King Band and Avett Brothers...three of the best out there right now!

Saw the Dead live but never saw Rush live. I always say I’m the biggest Rush fan never to see them live. And I see these guys (it’s always guys, right?) on documentaries at their hundredth show. Wouldn’t be the same but I’d like to see the new tour with Anika Nilles.

Not many as I have been fortunate to see most that I liked. But on the other hand I have one I regret going to! My wife made me go see the GO Go's with her in the early '80's and I could have gagged but NXS was to play behind them and she wanted to leave before they came on. That was a day that will live in infamy in my life!

Too many to name, but a few would be Bob Marley and the Wailers, The Clash, Prince, Whitesnake and Motley Crue/ Def Leppard/Poison/Joan Jett that was rescheduled because of COVID.
It is a long list and now I am sad! On a side note, got to party with The Wailers in their hotel one night while in college, from what I remember I had a good time.

A lot of my favorites quit touring or at least touring together before I was old enough to go see them. Ones that I missed that I had chance to go included Floyd and U2. Couple of years back U2 did the entire Joshua Tree album in concert and I really wanted to go but couldn’t rationalize spending the money. Tickets are crazy these days. Should have gone to see them in the valley. Did sit up on the slope below the physical plant and listen a little while.

Top 3, I'd say James Brown, Freddie Mercury & David Bowie. Had chances but never saw em.
edit: That's really just the tip of the iceberg, list goes on forever when you include all of the classic jazz and blues greats from long ago.

Van Halen, 1980's Motley Crue, Led Zeppelin (I guess I technically could've seen them when I was like 5, 6,7 years old), first Lollapalooza (was offered tickets but too busy with schoolwork at the time - still regret it).
