Oregon St. could have used a QB change in the second half. Vaz had 113 total yards, 3 turnovers, 0 touchdowns and 10 sacks due to a bum ankle and lack of help from the o-line.

If we don't play our a-game, we lose to LSU. Since Texas won, if we lose we probably fall below them in the rankings.

If Texas had lost, that'd be one spot we wouldn't have had to give up with a loss; If OSU had won, our win over LSU may have pushed us even further above them in the rankings. Now, if we win, it doesn't matter what people think of Texas or OSU because they wouldn't have a higher ranking anyway.

In other words, it only serves us better if we win.
