I think Geoff really stepped into a trap. The expectations were simply too high. How on earth could someone ever follow Paul Johnson and not be overshadowed by his legacy from day one?

AU loses this weekend and it might depend on how far Jimmy Rane is into the bourbon on whether they pull the trigger or not. Their problem is they will have to pay him a shidload of money for him not to turn around and sue him for what the administration did to him this summer. You can't just trash a guy's professional and personal reputation without opening the vault when you want him to go away.
