OK, so as many of us may painfully recall, we lost the College Football Belt to WV in the Orange Bowl on January 4, 2012, and it's been stuck in the Big 12 ever since. That seems to be the way this thing goes; the belt sometimes gets stuck in a conference for a while. It'll take a little luck to get it back next season, but since there's not a whole lot of other stuff to think about today, I took a look to see what would need to happen. It's currently with TCU and they play Arkansas on Sept. 10, so I'm thinking the belt's return to the SEC would be our best chance. Arkansas would need to keep it until they play Florida on Nov. 5 and Florida would need to lose it to SCU on Nov. 12. SCU plays us on Nov. 26, so there it is. There may be other paths, especially once the ACC releases its schedule, but there's at least a chance at this point, although only slight.
