Dabo says Schuessler "missed a couple of things"

Yeah, cause he should have been perfectly flawless.
That wasn't a difficult way to start your career at all, was it?
I mean the guy should've performed like he has been the starter all year.
Never mind the swiss cheese blocking, the rabid GT defense, or the fact that the actual starter had just gotten done throwing two pick six's and another pick.
I get why Dabo is defending Stoudt, but to act as if Schuessler "missing a couple of things" in that situation is a determining factor.
Well, that's just ridiculous.
And I still believe that Giving Stoudt the nod is a mistake.

I guess that's what it takes to start in Dabo's system.

HE said he missed protections.... It is a pretty big deal, but Im like you, no one comes out of the womb throwing touchdowns and I would like to see what he can do.

So to summarize : You are upset with Dabo for being supportive of Cole and for his percieved slight of Nick ?

Definitely not upset with Dabo being supportive of Cole. As stated in the post.
However, on multiple occasions he's mentioned the fact that Nick "missed some things".
If the objective is to truly lay a foundation of support for Cole, how does diminishing Nick's performance, in a terrible situation, lend credence to that?
Schuessler needs to get the nod. Get him warmed up so he face South Carolina with some experience.

Dabo is right. He missed completing a single pass to a GT defensive back.

Cole was never much of a threat to run which is required for CM system, but being hurt he definitly is not a threat to run. Atleast Schuessler is able to escape some IF he calls another bad/missed protection like Dabo and CM said he did. 4/4 passing and one was actually vertical!!

Dabo is not going to do what his intentions are set out to do. I believe Cole is being setup for failure. He is hurt, he is mentally down, his confidence is down, etc. I don't think Dabo saying anything negative about Nick is very smart at all. He will be here next year. Cole won't. If Nick will never play, then why is he on the team?

Dabo has to find a way to justify Nick not starting over Cole. The stats were pretty clear - Cole gave GT 14 points and Nick - while limited in action - played ok or at least did not do anything to gift points to GT.
Look at it like this. Say Dabo plays Nick Saturday and Nick goes for 300 yds and 3 touches. Can you imagine the 2nd guessing that would occur as a result of Nick riding the pine while Cole lead us through the 5 game valley of dread.
However, if Dabo starts Cole and Cole performs well as he or really any QB would likely do against the less talented G-State - then Dabo is vindicated. He really is a great coach and he gets to say - See - I knew what I was talking about.

Completely agree here. Dabo is so far up Cole Stoudt's ######## its ridiculous. I don't understand it. Why continue to defend him if he continues to play bad. Who cares if he's given 4 loyal years to Clemson, he's been in the system going on 5 years and still sucks the big one. Dabo needs to stop giving seniors priority and speak the truth. Everyone knows he's bad. Why can't Dabo just say "its time to try something new. Nothing against Cole, he just is not performing and we need a new look" That would be honest and not hurtful
