to log in one more time with the ESPN app( why do you have to log in EVERY time it seems...). Anyway, we are up 4 to zip with 5 to go in the first half....Is that like being up about 75 zip in football?

My Son loves soccer (especially Clemson) and in 1997 as a freshman at Clemson I came to sit with him to watch Tigers win Natty at Riggs on a chilly evening and waved the 3’ x 5’ PAW Flag. What a wild night of celebration and surprisingly I didn’t notice the low score! LOL~

For whatever reason I can not get into Soccer. My son played Soccer in High School and I attended every game but never understood what was happening. Just not my game. But, I support the Tigers.

Do you think youd like it more if you knew the tactics and strategy more?

I’ve noticed that American commentators don’t usually do a very good job of explaining the strategic differences in tactics and that often leads people to watch only for goals.

It can be interesting when you know the strategy stuff to look out for to.

... led to some early losses and ties.

So, might be a good time to jump on the bandwagon for this season.

Note that via transfer port we have gotten the two best players from Oregon State (who was ranked #1 when we beat them in NCAAA tourney two years ago in Corvallis) and the best player from Tulsa.

And granted our 3 losses are to the teams ranked #2, #3, and #6 in the current polls and two of those were on the road. And the loss to #2 UCF saw us miss several scoring chances (and lose 2-1).

They seemed to just be way more physical than us that game. But still we had chances to put them away 2-0 that we didn’t take.

Gotta be honest. My daughter’s boyfriend is really good and the high school for our city is good. Lost last year in the MN state championship game in an OT shootout and is advancing through the playoffs right now.

Anyway I have started to go watch him play some and I honestly have kind of gotten into it. It is actually really fun to watch. These kids get pretty aggressive.
