Clemson's success eating Spurrier up ...

It's eating him up ... sad old fart.

He beats Clemson 5 straight times and still the general national perception is that Clemson has the better program.

He cannot stand it that beating Ohio State and Urban Meyer in the Orange Bowl provides Clemson instant credibility while winning the "state championship" doesn't even create a blip on the radar for anyone outside the state.

The more he brings it up, the sillier he looks. If it wasn't absolutely killing him, he wouldn't feel compelled to talk about it so much.
