Preference.
There'd be about 8 Clemson fans who would buy the shoes, and exponentially more message board threads created to delittle and stereotype those poor 8 souls who made the terrible life decision of buying and wearing Clemson shoes, cargo shorts and a DW4 jersey in public.
With that being said, I'd buy a pair wihout hesitation.

All those schools generate considerably more revenue than Clemson does. They are either national brands and/or they have massive
alumni bases (Michigan State, for instance). Don't take it personally.
