Clemson/Dollars/GOR

It is my understanding this doesn't affect the Grant of Rights. What it does is protect the ACC if and when (let's face it...it's when) Clemson and FSU bolt. As for money, it would mean an extra $6-8 million per school, which is nice, but doesn't nearly makeup the shortfall the ACC has with the B1G and SEC.

Yes, DavidHood®, we're all feeling that way. IDK why the ACC agreed to share the PO money with the new members. To me it's a slap in the face to Clemson which has been the icon for the conference in the playoff.

Hate is building.

So adding West Coast schools adds $6 to $8 million per year for each school. So you take those schools, traveling cross country, with flights/room/food expenses and roughly 100 people traveling. That would most likely take half of that money if not more. Still makes no sense, needed to be much more money than this per school. Bad deal

Let's hope sooner rather than later. Thanks David.

Sometimes the road to the truth is so elusive it's confusing and reality becomes illusion.

Well, maybe the silver lining in all of this "realignment" nonsense is that this is the straw that broke the camel's back....if ever there was a reason to leave the ACC this is it. Adding Calford is insanity.

Screw Calford.

The good thing about adding schools in CA is that it makes the travel to any school in the Big10 not a problem anymore.

And since the Big10 added the CA schools, it makes even more sense to go to the SEC to make TX the longest flight.
