Yikes!
Didn't realize that.
Looking down the road things like that stat could one day be what keeps voters from voting a Clemson or another deserving ACC team into the playoffs. Clemson would be the exception I think.
Had Wake gone undefeated in a year Clemson was down; I don't think they get in over Cincinatti.
Sure wish they would plaster the SEC 0-4 on the ticker a bunch more than they have, LOL!
This may not be concerning right now; but it's noteworthy. ACC squads will have to pick it up. I have high hopes that Cristobal will be able to win in Miami.
FSU and Miami are good football teams waiting to happen!
Some other ACC clubs( talking about you North Carolina, Pitt and Virginia Tech need to step up and learn how to win out of conference games consistently as well. If not, the propaganda machine will eventually relegate the ACC to the same status as the AAC, Conf USA, Mtn West, SBC, Mac. It has to improve around the league!

Not sure if you know: " I have a particular disdain for Nancy State " of all the teams we play. I probably dislike them more than I dislike the chickens in cooties-lumbia. Just a nasty, nasty bunch from top to bottom.

I can tell you that things are pretty much quiet in Columbia, even at the CClubs. Except of course, the usual 'wait until next year, Beamer ball is going to work.
After today, the who is the real Carolina will be settled.

SCAR - is irrelevant on the college football landscape! Their greatest claim to fame is belonging to the conference with Nick Saban and Alabama. And the occasional Auburn or LSU run. Urban has left UF so they are done. 1980 since Georgia has been relevant.
Yet, the chickens "chirp"! Why?
They need to win a SEC east title at least or better yet the SEC title 1st.
Wish they played Nancy St every year at the end of the season. It would be called the "puke bowl"!

team WOULD have gotten the nod over Cincy. No way the Committee would leave out an unbeaten Power 5 Conference Champ to let in a Group of Five.

76er - even given that had they gone undefeated Clemson would have had 4 losses! That would still have been their best win. Versus a Cincinnati that went on the road to a top 10 Notre Dame and won?
I mean, there have been lots of talks among the so-called expert analyst in some years that Clemson should not have gotten in. I could most certainly see them leaving out Wake.
My point of this post is that - 13 losses in a row in bowl games and an OOC record as a whole that wasn't great would have come into play more than ever. All of the ACC stats or lack of success would have been blasted for weeks as the decision was made.
You could very well be right 76er. But, I see it the other way had it gone down like that.
Houston was ranked pretty high this season and currently still is. SMU at one point was undefeated and ranked in the top 15. UCF ended the year 9-4. Plus, they beat a big 10 team in Indiana on the road.
The eye test would have come in and stats like this would get thrown out! Clemson has gone to SEC country and won - so we are credible and sustain the hit. Could Wake?

Clemson won the 2019 Fiesta Bowl, then lost to LSU. There were only like 5 ACC bowl games last year and 2 before ours this year.

This was on the ticker as they showed the Clemson vs. Iowa State score on ESPN.
The ACC indeed lose its last 13 in checking though. Here is how it went:
Clemson defeated Ohio State on December 28, 2019. Then, BC, VT, UVA, and FSU and lost bowl games on December 30, two on December 31, Jan 2(BC), and us on Jan 13.
Last year the ACC was 0-6 in bowl games! Prior to our win, the ACC was 0-2. Count those up, my friend!
The point: "stuff like that gets plastered, but negative stats from other conferences get excuses made or not posted at all"! It's just to set up the big right-cross one day when they need to exclaim the ACC is too weak to carry the crown!

Did any of you catch the commentators refer to the ACC bowl losing streak?
They are also all about {not SCAR} but the SEC being up on the ACC at Halftime! Talk about delivering a story one sided. No heavy emphasis on the 0-4 for the SEC, wow!
