we get the Bama team that showed up in the Sugar against Utah a few years back. Bama is still a much better team than we are. we would have to play lights out on offense just to give our defense a chance. bama can move the ball and they have an enormous offensive line.

i would love to get a shot at beating them, but i honestly think the stars would have to align perfectly for us to win. we would be a 14 dog going into that game...just sayin

...maybe. i agree that it would be tough to win, but look at what A&M did to them. Johnny Manziel is a better overall athlete than Boyd, but Boyd is a better passer. We also have much more skill talent than A&M overall.

I think A&M showed that the spread can beat an SEC defense.

Why do you think that Saban said he thinks the spread has no place in college football? Because he's afraid of what it would do to his vaunted SEC/NFL defense.

Yeah, but Mettenberger is not anywhere close to the talent of Boyd. He lit up Bama and should have won if not for usLes Miles terrible play calling.

Utah owned them in the trenches. They had 6or 7 sacks in that game anndnour run d is good only when teams cannot pass. Even ag md we get sucked into he middle knowing they are going to run on their own goal,line and they bust a 50 harder on us.love my tigs but we will have problems stacking the box and them running right at us.

Would love to just go to the sugar bowl. Then we could tell the South Carolina fans what it was like since they will never get the chance. Plus, I know it would be a major upset but if we did beat Alabama we would easily finish in the top 4 and could debate what Alabama's record would have been in the ACC. Also, I think the SEC champs shirts would look good. All in all I think it would be worth it. The only bad part would be I'm 99 percent sure Morris would be gone after that game.
