Probably pretty accurate as well. Not like the need for maybe a top 300 BB transfer or 2 to get us in a tourney game after year 14. Nothing that bad.

schools can reel in guys regardless of a great depth chart. For some reason and maybe its just because I follow our recrutiing news more we never seem to do that.

Money and false hopes.

Money will entice some guys to ignore the competition they’ll face and to be satisfied with not playing for a couple of years.

Then they start to see the writing on the wall.

In the end, they almost always leave for the chance to start.

Because they think if they don’t start, they won’t get drafted.

They miss the fact that not getting drafted is mostly a result of not being good enough to start in the first place.

There are certainly notable exceptions to all of this, but in general, it’s accurate.
