Correct me if I’m wrong, but they have about $40 million per year in their budget because of SEC money that we don’t have. I would say everything else is pretty equal. So they do have more money to spend.

I'm guessing that most of the posters here did not hear it, because the flavor of the call was much different than some here perceive. I think his points were excellent. The major point was that with all of the resources that Scar has, in terms of number of alumni, money available, fan support, etc. no program in college athletics has underachieved like U of SC. I agree. He also was not so much comparing Clemson to Cincinnati and them to Ohio State, but more like saying resources wise it would be similar, say as opposed to comparing Ohio State to Michigan. He was not saying Clemson is like Cincinnati.

The facts are that the coots make a ton more money than we do because of all that SEC TV money and the gap is widening every year. We either need to get more from our big boosters or leave the acc asap.

They do indeed get more conference money but not real sure where it ends up? I believe they may fund more non revenue sports than Clemson, but have wondered what and where does their extra funds end up. Fairly certain there is nothing facility wise that they currently have that I would care to trade for.

I think they may still be paying off some fired coaches and hiring new coaches is also expensive. They also spend a lot on WBB..
