It's probably between Maryland and us, hopefully he'll make the wise choice and head to Clemson!

Anyone know why 2 recruiting services list him as an outside linebacker and 2 as defensive end?

I know right?! I'm so done with this. We are an elite program. He needs us MUCH more than we need him. I don't like being jerked around and held hostage by what I perceive as a Prima Donna. How have these worked out in the past? Not real well. Already going in with a lack of respect as a team and more about his announcement. At this point I almost hope he goes to Maryland and gets what he deserves. He's not displaying a true humble attitude that wants to be coached.

The kid made a too quick de ision before and all he knew was that he wanted to spend his sr. year looking at what the world had to offer. Instead of screwing around with other teams while being formally committed to us, he was up front about his intentions and plans. Should he have waited before before committing? Yeah, sure. But he didn't and handled the situation well. A verbal commitment is not binding, but he acted as if it were and disolved it before taking his official visits elsewhere. I see that as a mature way to correct a mistake. I honestly haven't felt 'jerked around' in this case.

the only school in his top 4 where he can start with and finish with the same coaches. All the other schools will have a change in their HC by the time he graduates, IMO.

Young man just needs to think about the defensive line that would be playing in front of him....

Orientation for new students is Jan 4th and classes start Jan 6th. Can he commit Jan 2nd, enroll and move in Jan 3rd, be at orientation and register for classes Jan 4th, and start classes Jan 6th? Sounds difficult to me unless everything is a done deal before that and it is kept a secret until Jan 2nd, right???
