Clemson in Featherston's top five schools

"Lorenzo Featherson (Greensboro, N.C./Page) stands 6-7. He is rated as the nation's No. 26 overall prospect. He is considered the fourth best defensive end in the country. Needless to say -- Featherston is a hotly pursued recruit.

Featherston, meanwhile, has five schools he's considering.

"Right now it's Clemson one, Tennessee two, North Carolina and North Carolina State tied at three and South Carolina five," Featherston told Ryan Bartow of TigerIllustrated.com.

Clemson is clearly the favorite, but one SEC program could enter the mix if it were to offer"



They can't let Clemson have it's number one ranking with a recruit without spinning it as though an $EC school will swipe them away. Still would be great to land this guy.
