This past week my father in law, Clemson class of 1957, received some bad news with a stage 4 pancreatic cancer diagnosis. At 82 years old treatment isn't likely but we are praying for a miracle. However, he decided he wanted to do something special for his grandson before he passed. Being a Citadel grad I could see it coming from a mile away because I understand the importance as well. Papa sat MJ, our 13 year old son, down and gave him his Clemson class ring and his diploma to hang beside my dad's Clemson diploma as well. As the only grandson and our family being the only descendants from him who are Clemson fans Papa wanted to keep his legacy of Clemson in the family. Incredible blessing and Papa's Clemson legacy and love will continue on for generations.
