Our culture is a double edged sword. The same culture that we promote will make it difficult to hire quality assistants. When Dabo looks for replacements a large number of the good ones will be eliminated because they won’t click with the rest of the staff.

Let me simplify it for you. Most teams in todays football landscape operate under the assumption that winning ballgames is necessary and use every tool in their arsenal to accomplish this goal. Best coaches, best facilities, best NIL money, Portal usage to fill gaps. Clemson has made a stand that this in fact is NOT our priority. Best is the standard doesn’t mean winning it means doing your best. Developing men and education is first, football is second. Players don’t see it that way and most modern landscape coaches know this, therefore these coaches will either not consider Clemson or Clemson will not Consider them. This is more than likely why we promote from within and it’s murdering us.

Look, Dabos management of promoting from within is admirable. It appeared to work for a very brief period, but it’s now clear that some of these guys aren’t working out. Dabo knows it and will make a change at the end of season. Unfortunately we’re in the dumpster fire right now and it will burn for several more weeks…

There you go again pushing falsehoods. Our NIL program is good and has been from the beginning. DJU was one of the first college players to be apart of a national ad campaign. BT Potter was in ads all over South Carolina last season. Garrett Riley was an outside hire. So again you’re pushing another false hood. Complete falsehood that assistants would refuse to come to Clemson.

Talking to a college soccer player recently. Yeap, student athletes love NIL money. The is just the reality. Go figure..

There’s no culture or family anymore, especially when you have fans rallying a boo fest in Death Valley. Theirs only a “family” when you’re winning apparently.

That fan of a boo fest rally got banned. There is not, I repeat, NOT going to be a boo fest rally in the valley. Clemson fans have more class and are not going to diss on young men doing their best.

Hopefully a counter-Boo Fest would be organized.

Let’s simplify this. Dabo won in ways unimaginable to his detractors and the national media. But they planted a poison pill: suggested Dabo needed Chad and Brent to succeed. Wasn’t really an X’s and O’s coach just a great organizer. He didn’t like this. So when Chad, Jeff, Brent, and Tony were gone he set out to prove them all wrong. The search for coordinators? Simple, we didn’t need to look outside the program. Ego allowed him to fall for this. He’ll need Riley to step up or fail and be replaced. And he’ll need a great DC like he got in 2012. Or his legacy will read exactly like what I’ve said here.

I’m not sure how that was a poison pill, all HC need excellent coordinators to succeed. That’s why those positions exist in the first place
