Wondering what is the purpose of this thread? Both sides cherry picking data to support their position then arguing over who is correct?
We know CBB is a good coach but not good enough to reach expectations without our AD doing something to change the trajectory. It is also fair that some fans think a change in leadership would be a wise move. The thing is hiring another unproven coach would likely not bring the results we desire.
The options for success are either finding a top-notch proven coach like we did for baseball OR building the facilities and hiring an elite assistant(s) + staff like we did for football.
Either option is valid, but these are the only two options likely to bring the results we desire.

awhile but is back to trolling again. His contempt towards our football team and now added baseball team where he only brings up bad things for them and only good things for Brownell is ridiculous. It is so obvious that he's jealous there is anything negative said about our basketball team that he has to try to #### on our other programs. Most people here realize there are issues with football team, baseball team, and basketball team. But if he is going to continue trolling I'm going to continue to post what I think to be true about our basketball team. You are absolutely right, does no good to just switch out coaches, but if coincides with increased monies/emphasis, etc. then it may be the boost we need. I was younger, I get that, but I've never wanted to watch basketball less than I have the last 3 years under Brownell. This year, I got excited again only to watch us get beat in the opening round of the NIT at home. Thanks Brad!

You are either happy with where we are or you aren't.
We have a team that is decent and doesn't get in trouble with the law.
The academics aren't great.
They are usually competitive and have some good wins and an occasional blowout win but some godawful bad losses including some blowout losses.
They are sometimes in the conversation for an NCAA berth but usually fall short.
That's not horrible, but if it's not what we want we need to make a change.
Accepting "somewhat better than average" because change may make us worse isn't going to accomplish anything.
