Is there a possible connection between all the transfers

we have and the fact that it appears the team has tuned BB out? Not saying it's the case but allot of the time there's some underlying problems with kids that want to transfer from a school where they can't fit in our make it work. Honest question, not saying it's fact, just asking opinions.

Absolutely, if they don't want to play defense, then don't let them play offense either. They certainly aren't all in.

Why ask this board after a loss?
Really.
What perceptive insight do you foresee?

BB's post game comments after the loss. He has brought up the point about the team's effort after a couple of the losses. So therefore the timing of the question fits.

IMO has a culture to be average to below average. Unlike the football team, they don't really expect to win every night. Plus, we all thought we had more talent on this team. Well maybe that's somewhat true for Clemson. However, relative to the other ACC teams our talent level is not really above many of the others.

This team has lacked chemistry from the start. CBB has clearly struggled with getting his team to play defense which has been his trademark. Clemson lacks a consistent second scorer, but a lack of interior depth has really hurt.
I hate it for CBB, however he has lost his team to a degree and unless he turns it around he is likely gone. He may be given one more year because he worked to get LJC done and has his best class of recruits coming.
The NIT won't cut it, but a buyout of millions looms so our AD has a tough choice.
Go Tigers!

But it does seem like there could be something there. Something is off with this team. These transfer guys were around for the most part last season, in practice, helping the team, so you would think that they would have whatever chemistry is necessary. But it seems that it hasn't translated to ACC play. They don't seem to play well together. And they certainly don't respond to adversity well. My guess is that there is a combination of things involved (lack of player leadership, chemistry, questionable defensive scheme that turns opposing wing players into superstars, etc.)....but eventually the coach is responsible. Brownell's teams have played hard and have been scrappy in the past, and he has coached teams with less collective talent to a winning conference record. But this team, barring a miracle, is heading towards underachieving in a major way. That being said....here's to finding a way to beat Syracuse and send their coach to find Denny's again.
