I understand it’s a Jones fracture, so it’s the 5th metatarsal, could be closer to toe but still it’s more than just the toe.

Because they aren't going to get out of paying him as long as he followed a doctor's advice.

Obviously he didn't follow their instructions which is how they can cancel the remaining contract to include his 4yrs and 40% of his signing bonus.

He played like a monster his final year with the Dolphins and got off to a great start with the Raiders before the injury.

Maybe the guaranteed money went to his head and he didn't go all-out during the rehab process. I read somewhere this has been simmering for months.

I don't think much of the Raiders at all but I don't think they would do this unless there were some fault of Christian. They know this is a legal matter and wouldn't take this step unless they had some confidence they could win.

The bottom line is there will be a negotiated settlement and he'll go somewhere else.
