Is Stellato healthy? If so, why isn't he being targeted?
Let's pump the brakes on the two incoming freshmen. There's plenty of talent from last year. They had it last year and really only lost 1 receiver. The problem is the quarterback.
Stellato's position true slot receiver why aren't they
Setting up plays specifically designed to go to him and the other receivers.
QB drops back in three seconds he's looking to dump it off and not be patient to watch the develop. Totally frustrating to watch.
No creativity to the offense don't seem like they have any set place. Frustrating to watch.
I watched a lot of open wide open so many times last year with his hands up frustrated the quarterback just isn't at that level. We can read the field and be patient.

Strllato is never going to deliver much. Poor guy couldn’t block my grandma and she’s dead.

They didn't recruit him to block best hands on the team one of the fastest guys on the team one of the most reliable if not the most reliable guy in the team when it comes to catching the ball always gets positive yards just get him the ball

From the #### ball every time they throw the ball, he catches it, which is yard per 89 yards/ Carrie doesn't drop the ball when they throw it to them. They don't throw in the ball. Why don't you get?

Everyone love what he did the last year last few games what's changed not much except the fact that now he's not getting the ball thrown to him at all I mean it is only one game, but we'll see

You need to go back and look at last year's games when they did throw the ball he caught it for positive yards fought for first downs made some incredible catches. Didn't see him drop the ball they say he has the best hands on the team he can only do so much did you not see last year how many times he was open down field But Klubnik unfortunately, isn't that guy that's gonna take you to the promised land why don't you get Troy stellato could be helping this team a lot throw him the #### ball

As of August 15, 2024, Clemson wide receiver Troy Stellato was banged up and didn't participate in a scrimmage, but head coach Dabo Swinney said he hoped to get him back the following week.

He had his shoulder cleaned up in May. I’m guessing they didn’t want to risk playing him if he was recently banged up.

Very good point could be the case definitely is gonna help this team!
I've watched them plays with a chip on the shoulder. Even Dabo said he doesn't catch the ball. He snatches the ball best hands on the team.

So true, never looked his way. I watched so many games. It was two games where he has his hand up. He's open by 30 yards. Even the TV announcers were saying look at stellato wide open. Little frustrated has his hand up in the end zone came never looked his way and I'll tell you why.
Last year, Troy was on the left side of the offense and every time klubnuk got the ball he dropped back and rolled to his right never even looking at Troy never even looking his way. The only touchdown Troy got is when he did a post / . Crossing route from the left all the way in the post to the right hand side of end zone , and of course klubnik was rolling to the right and saw Troy in the end zone and result touchdown Syracuse game great catch nice throw !

I’m all for playing Moore and Wesco now but Stellato has played well when healthy. He probably catches the two balls that Turner dropped. He just has to stay on the field and that has been an issue since day 1.

A well designed pass play has a quick route, a mid depth, and long developing deep route.
It seems like since Riley took over they are all running the same type routes at the same time.

A. Williams, T. Brown, B. Wesco, TJ. Moore, > T. Stellato. I thought Stellato played decent last year but I don't think he's near the talent of 4 I mentioned above. Has Stellato ever scored a TD,? Not trying to bash the kid as I think he can definitely help at receiver I just don't think he is one of our top 4.

Stellato has scored one TD but he is more of a possession receiver that you go to on shorter routes when you need a 1st down. He runs a good route and has great hands. Definitely not a guy that is explosive. If you watch his interview that is basically what he said so he knows his role.
His reception numbers were trending up big towards the end of the season. He has a place in the offense, definitely if someone goes down.

Yea I agreed 100%. I remember we beat out Ohio State when he signed here as he was pretty highly rated prospect. Hope we see him continue his upward trajectory from last season and he is able to stay healthy. Go Tigers!!
