On paper.....but not on the field. That's why you play the game. If this game was up to the committee they would have just handed the chiefs the win before it started to save everyone time because ya know , "eye test" 🤓

If the goal were really to determine which team is "best", and you could

determine that without the teams playing each other, then what's the point in playing? The truth is, the goal isn't to determine who's best, the goal is to let teams play and see who wins. Or at least it should be.

I feel bad for the Chiefs. Maybe they can have the CFP Committee fix this for them. They’ll know which team is better.

Don’t need it. I just look at the results, then make up a fairytale that fits what I wish was true. I’m never wrong, which is one of the great advantages of making up the grading criteria AFTER everyone has taken the test.

I understand - I'm agreeing with you.***

Hmm..I totally agree. College Football should adopt the NFL's model!

No more rankings. You play, win your games and make it into the playoffs as a conference champion or a wild card if you're better than the other 100+teams. BRILLIANT!

But if you have SEC SPEED or AGGRESSIVE TIMEOUTS, that’s better than being undefeated. We’ll also need to look at the whole “money thing” but that’ll all be handled professionally, late at night, in a dark room, by secret ballot, with anonymous voters, using aliases, sworn to silence under blood oath…..ya know….on the up and up.

I'd be good with that.***

Again , proving my point that underdogs win all the time. Not being favored to win or not passing the "eye test" should not be a justification for getting left out of a playoff when all other criteria have been met on the field of play

But the NFL still wouldn’t let them leave NY……that’s losing in my book.

It’s like that war that Michigan and Ohio fought over Toledo. Ohio lost, so they had to take Toledo.
