Again, make sure to understand the full story before reading too much into a random quote. Dabo has said some very idiotic things if you single out one off quotes from him as well.

Howie Lindsey asked Bobby Petrino about the CFP rankings. Petrino said the method for ranking teams doesn't encourage sportsmanship. He said he guesses he was wrong to pull his starters in the third quarter against Florida State when they could have scored 80 points if they wanted to

Also in the same interview, he claimed Clemson should be ranked #1 over Alabama based on the teams they have beaten if the selection committee uses that as their criteria.

But you're right, screw Petrino. He doesn't know what he's talking about.
