Sounds like Marshall suspect ambushed cops serving a warrant (or doing an investigation). No reports on extent of injuries, but several officers struck. Mass casualty response from Novant/Atrium called, and roads across charlotte locked down to help with emergency transport.

for a few days, lives just around the corner from this in Charlotte. A friend just sent a video she recorded as she was trying to get home, but roads were blocked and you can clearly hear multiple gunshots.

I answered the door and there was an old gruff guy in a trench coat, top hat. I thought it was Spencer Tracy at first. He held up his ID and badge, asking me if I was xyz and if I knew why he was there. He really had me off guard!

for the first time. Tuckaseegee Rd. has NEVER been a comfortable-looking locale, but we started going to The Milestone in the late 70s (and still do on occasion) where shows start late and the neighborhood is in full force at that time of night...it's just part of the experience. The building still looks like it might cave in, but they've cleaned up the bar area and bathrooms at least.
