It seems to me, when Clemson was climbing to the top of college football from the 2012 Chick-fil-A bowl win onwards, the players had lots of fun, enjoyed the process, and were genuinely excited to win. Today it feels like the team is simply relieved to avoid a loss and are scared of the massive expectations the program's success has placed on the program. Playing to not lose is a tried and true unsuccessful formula. We need to get back to enjoying the winning.
Not defending the poor play today and saying the team should be excited to scrape by a terrible GT team. But the energy seems much different from the successful teams Dabo has fielded in the past.
