This is without a doubt one of the biggest games in recent Clemson history and while we have high expectations for the team and the coaches, we as fans and students need to do our part as well!
1) Solid Orange Day means wear ORANGE. Not purple, not white, not gray or navy. There is a reason schools have incorporated the “color”-outs at their respective home games. Death Valley is one of the best stadiums in college football and it looks incredible with a sea of Orange! 2) Home field advantage can impact this game! The crowd needs to be loud and cheering needs to be frequent. I am as anti-coot as they come but nobody can deny the passion of their fan base during a game when constantly they are cheering “Game…#####…Game…#####” and the same would go for us with “Clemson…Tigers…” or “Orange…White…” or when the stadium divides up a letter all the way around---but we usually only do each of these once a game. DO IT ALL NIGHT LONG! 3) Most importantly enjoy this Saturday for what it’s worth. This could end up being one of the most historical days in Clemson football history. Bringing back an old rivalry, the start of college football, two top 10 schools, ESPN Game day for only the 2nd time ever, Heisman hopefuls and tailgating in Clemson, SC. This should be a good one!
