Who is the person you have in mind that Clemson would hire to replace Dabo?

We’re not the same Clemson we were when we hired Dabo.
You really think we wouldn’t have candidates lining up left and right to be the head coach at Clemson?
Dabo is done and we will never make another playoff with him at the helm unless he decides to start using all the resources available to him and go out and hire actual assistant coaches to compete at the highest level and not just his buddies and former Clemson grads who will all bow to his feet.
It will only get worse unless these 2 things happen.
Use the portal and get rid of the yes men assistants. Until then… welcome back to the Tommy Bowden years.

I think people would be tickled to death simply seeing Dabo hire the correct coaches again, and adapt to the modern ways of roster construction. I don’t want to see him gone, I want to see him wake tf up and quick being so self righteous and holier than thou. Maybe grow thicker skin and not insult people who wonder what the F he is doing with his staff decisions and his resistance to the portal.

I don’t think anyone wants to fire Dabo … maybe that 1.5%… but majority of fans just want Dabo to change with the times and quit being so hard headed, he’s very capable…. And admit he screwed up with all these positional hires that have been horrible and hire some guys that have actual experience to help develop talent!! This team offensively is just bad and has been for 3+ years now , we have digressed big time at every single position. We knew we would at qb some but every other position is just slow and bad… terrible OL I mean an absolute joke that looks like they haven’t gotten any better… wr that can they separation for most of the games… rb position with absolutely zero speed or ability to break tackles… and throw in a young qb that is def not developing very quickly and this is what you get.

Am I frustrated. Yes. But Dabo got Clemson to the pinnacle and the reality is that we may not be able to compete like many others in the NIL era. We knew it would be an issue. I did not expect to see us slide this quickly.
Coaching decisions are definitely an issue. Riley has been a bust to this point. I think the end of Clemson’s opportunity to be elite or near the top is over. Does not matter who is coaching. It is a dollars issue. I am bummed to say the least.

Suffice it to say this: whether or not Dabo is doing a good job as of late is not dependent on whether or not critics have a short list of candidates.
I, myself am not angling for him to be fired, but I think it's clear his job performance has been underwhelming at best lately.
