...... when pertaining to paid players. In the NFL there are hundreds of them..... with over the top egoes to boot. Dabo likes dealing with kids and develop them to young men......not taking male diva man childs with a lot of money. There are some good NFL players with good character...but it just isn't Dabo's style. Panthers can ask all they want though.... Dabo is probably looking to get into land development and own his own subdivision or suburbs one day...... called Sacred Hills or something.

Agreed. But the owner, Tepper is another issue. Dabo would have an issue with him. Three coaches have been fired in season now at Carolina. He also meddles in the day to day, which Dabo would not like either.

Dabo is under contract with Clemson through 2031. According to the terms of the contract, he or a school would have to pay a $6 million buyout if he leaves for another college coaching job, $9 million if it is Alabama. But if he left for the NFL, there would be no buyout. That seems odd since an NFL team would have more money than most colleges. His agent must have worked a compromise.

The general feeling is he likes working with colleges players and helping them to get a degree and become better players and young men. Plus he and his family seem to enjoy the small town life, but I'm just guessing since I don't know them personally. He would just seem out of place coaching NFL players in a big city. Besides, his current salary is just inside the top 10 of NFL coaches.

over the years in spite of playing one season in DV they have no idea where Clemson is or who from there could help them. I doubt very much that there would be mutual interest

They don’t draft Clemson players. Why would they hire Dabo? Hope they go 0 and forever.
