Very rarely, if ever, do I agree with anything this little snotty nosed twit has to say....but even a broken clock is right twice a day. His assessment of Clemson secondary is pretty fair. Who knows maybe he has finally gotten over the 44 - 16 curb stomping that took place in California 😂😂😂😂

Even though I've been critical in the past at acute times, Coach Reed and Coach Conn have proven over the long-haul that they can develop a cohesive secondary unit and get the most out of each player. Very good developmental track-record we have with those two-fortunate to have them!

I'll never understand why RJ Mickens was ever treated the way he was on campus. He was at 1 point the #1 safety in his class and every time he's been on the field he steps up and makes plays. But it seems like we consistently tried to make him "The other guy" we waited for years for Andrew Makuba to show us what he did his freshmen year while RJ. Just kept making play after play. I feel the same way about Demonte Capehart. He's a baller when he's on the field but we won't put him out there.

Mickey’s is the best player in our secondary.
This is not meant to disrespect Terrell, Lewis, or Barnes, each of whom are very good.

This should come as no surprise. RJ Mickens is Ray Mickens Jr. - his dad was a seasoned NFL vet for the NY Jets that worked under Belichick, Bill Parcels, and Herm Edwards. We don't miss much when it comes to these NFL legacies. They are raised to understand what it takes to perform at the highest levels. Looking forward to Logan Brooking coming through and continuing our NFL legacy pipeline.

The defense will be fine as long as our offense can be consistent and not have multiple 3 and out’s.
