This is what Dabo was talking about …iptay is not nil money, but come January donation to 110 will have iptay benefits so it seems like that money can actually be used towards nil if that’s the case … I can’t say I fully understood that article about the standards coming but seems like we will have the money and be able to use it the right way to get back… I’d love to see some of it used to pay for a top DC and maybe a diff maker or two In the portal lol

We have plenty of money, but we do spend a lot on upgrades. Jim and Candace Brown have been the major donors for the improvements to Swann and Littlejohn. I think those were about 45 million during phase 1. I remember an article last year about it.

If we want to compete, IPTAY and NIL have to be the same thing. If we silo off the money we don't stand a chance against Texas teams.

Competing with Texas teams should be the least of this programs worries… what sucks about losing 2 of the last 3 is we aren’t losing to spurriers teams that were really good teams… these scar teams are mediocre football teams (one today couldn’t even throw the ball down the field much) and we still can’t get it done … at home again also. We need to worry about beating the acc out for much better talent… we either are horrific at evaluating qb talent .. lazy at it , or just horrible at developing them once they are here bc the qb position is nowhere near elite

QB this year has been the least of my concern. It's more so situational play-calling. Special teams coaching is horrendous. Extremely questionable lineups (not having Wesco or Moore for UGA, still playing Mafah to death when he's not doing s##t.) Defense needs depth and a new coaches as well. I haven't seen our defense tackle this f##king bad for an entire season since Kevin Steele days. Nor have I seen our defense get pushed around all year in the trenches and ran all over since then as well. This team has glaring issues that are fixable. We have to hit the recruiting trail better, that falls on the coaches. We need to hit the transfer portal, we don't have a choice at this rate. That's on the coaches. But Cade isn't the problem honestly.

I’m just trying to figure out who our big donors are. I know who the oil guys out here in Oklahoma and Texas are that donate to the state schools

There is a “Texas team” that is number one on that list. 50 million in nil. Half a billion on a stadium upgrade. 75 million to Jimbo not to coach. Big oil money everywhere.
All to go 8-4 just like they do every other year.

Obviously you don't know what IPTAY does and have never to Clemson to ride around and look at all the athletic facilities we have. There have been millions and millions spent on improving and building facilities and nobody has better facilities than we do.

No I've never been to clemson, never visited, never seen the stadium or anything. Definitely never been there in the bowden days.
