No, I realize he just got the HC position at Houston but I wonder with all this craziness going on already if he could end up at Texas, USC, or usuck.

It'd take a really good offer for him to jump (better than Maryland IMO). I think he's content building an AAC power until a big program comes calling. Fuente will probably leave Memphis though, he's got them near their ceiling.

Maybe... He might get a lot of attention at the end of the season. They did take it to Louisville. Losses aside Louisville is still a really good win. Dang good win for Houston.
Think about all the potential openings at the end of the season. So far...

If he gets Houston to 10+ wins and the way he is grabbing some recruits....he might get looked at by Southern Cal, Miami (if they decide to pull Golden), or maybe some other school. I'm thinking he might stay at Houston another season but hey....money talks

He's got Big 10 roots and Maryland is technically in the Big 10 these days. Herman is a hot name right now. Not so sure it's a great hire as this is his first year at Houston, where they have been pretty good at football of late.
Then again, Briles and Sumlin are really solid football coaches.
