All this talk on the boards about if Bama/UGA, ND, Ohio St., and us go undefeated....

Does anyone remember the last time four power conference teams (counting ND in that number) finished the pre-bowl season undefeated?

Highly unlikely scenario. Win and we're in. Win like we won yesterday and there won't be any question, even if that scenario plays out, WVU and Colorado also finish undefeated, and UGA wins on a kick-six last second miracle type play.


By the way, the closest I can seem to find is 1994:

Nebraska finished 12-0
Penn St finished 11-0
**Texas A&M got a tie and finished 10-0-1

Honorable Mention:

Alabama finished 11-0, but then lost to a non-undefeated Florida team in the conference championship


Also, 2004:

Auburn finished 12-0
Oklahoma finished 12-0
USC finished 12-0

Mountain West Utah finished 11-0
WAC Boise St finished 11-0 and lost to Louisville in their bowl game

not possible for Bama & Georgia to both go undefeated.
